kelly loves tony, import subcultures

in the documentary, kelly loves tony, it is sad to see how their life after school develops, it is also frustrating to listen to tony. it was frustrating to see him not understand why kelly wants to pursue college and doing things that kelly did not want completely such as getting pregnant again. kelly wanted to wait a few years due to college, she wanted to get rid of the fetus at first but as tony would say taking her responsibility and keeping it. it is also really sad because they arent married and kelly really wants to but tony and his family are holding back. tony does not understand why she feels uncomfortable with his family, however his mother understands and tries to tell him to help out more to  have her more comfortable with living there and helping out.in the article, it talks about the car industry and the affects on the asian american population. the cars that come in view of the article seem mostly like muscle cars, which personally look like a ego boost. however in the article it is the way for the asian american communities especially the younger ones to blend into popular society. having muscle cars make one seem really cool and that is part of becoming a part of popular culture.
