is a virus : MEME WARFARE And Billionaires for Bush
In the article “Truth is
Virus” by Stephan Duncombe, the author first addresses the concept of truth is
a virus. However, as he first saw it, it was nearly unbelievable to him as he
thought, “is this a Hollywood Movie or something.” Yet, many cooperates and their
advertisements are just acting like viruses to people’s lives. They influence
the way how people think along the way how they dress and live on a daily
basis. This however is not even close to the fascination of political campaign
which draw the author’s attention. The idea of becoming billionaires are just
getting very viral that many have been deeply indulged into it. Billionaires,
which used to be an irony images, now become very viral as medias are spreading
this idea everywhere to people. The author even refers this as viruses and are
the products of cooperate advertisements and propagandas.
