I believe that internet has become a normal and expected thing for someone to have and use now so it is not surprising that there are things such as memes arising from the internet. In Boyd's article it shows Rushkoffs definition of memes, but I believe that is not exactly the virus that he sees it as. In my opinion, I believe it is just a way for people to express how they feel or just give their opinion on something without having to be so serious and tense about it. I find it more interesting when I see memes because it is usually comical and it give me a good chuckle. However, even the case which I do not understand the meme, it makes me research and go in depth into the meaning of the meme and the origin. Therefore, it does not just make jokes about things going on today, but it also helps informs people like me who sees memes a lot. In Dominguez's article, he talks about electronic disturbance. I believe we can look at memes as a form of electronic disturbance, which we can relate to some form of cultural resistance. Through memes, people are able to voice themselves, and the largely amount of memes we see, the better we can see how many people agree on a particular thing.
