the article “Cultural Resistance Reader”, it claims that Philosophy does not often
include facts. This, however, will be very likely to result in prejudice.
Because if everyone is a philosopher, everyone will become very judgmental and
have his/ or her own personal judgement into statements. Philosophy differs
from religion, in which Philosophy involves criticism and religion is filled
with common sense. In the article, “Orientalism”, after eighteenth century film
helps the transparency of knowledge exchange amongst cultures. Truth, while often consisting with facts, are
often used by politics and economies. Somehow powers are determined not just by
truths, but also the politic and economic factors as well. Truth should be
considered as regulatory orders, powers, and regime, according to the article.
