Hind Swaraj / Beyond a Boundary

In Hind Swaraj, it is a conversation between two people of what is happening to India and

what can be done about it. The English had been brought into India and are staying. They are also

changing and industrializing the country with machines, products, mills, and products. It is argued

since everything has already been established, it will be difficult to have it removed because it is now

part of the the life they know. In order to remove what has been set, they will have to gradually

realize that it is something they do not need and it will eventually go away, however I do not believe

that this will work because it is part of their life now. It is consider technological advancement and

people will continue to use this. This way of life is starting to become part of their culture.

James was a student who enjoyed playing cricket, a sport that was part of the English culture.

He has been playing since he was a child, but as the time goes along his education standing did not

meet standards and he was forced to reduce him time in playing cricket in order to try to raise his

standing. Cricket was his way of life so he snuck around, borrowed money, and lied so that he was

able to play cricket. He was forced into studying.
